Apologies if this isn't the correct forum. I don't work for State Farm or Turbo Tax... but I recently found out that if you are a State Farm customer, there is an option on the statefarm.com website (once you log in - you need a statefarm.com account in order to log in, of course) to go to turbotax's website via a special link, which let's you e-file your federal and state returns for free! I just finished my taxes, and instead of paying $60 ($30/federal plus $30/state) to e-file, it was absolutely free for me - no strings attached.

Anyway, I just wanted to pass on the info to others... take care!

2. What tax program? Turbotax normally charges $29..95 to e-file
Are there tax programs out there that are as good or better than Turbotax with free e-filing? I've been paying money every year to Turbotax for quite awhile!

4. Does the IRS let you e-file your return that way, or do you have to mail it via U.S. Mail? (nt)

5. Depending on what your personal financial situation/ complexity
I know a lot of people with simple returns who file electronically. I used to before I remarried and things got complicated again.
