2. Wish that LIES are true = U.S. damnation.

In today's paper I see a front page article about how $1 million+ houses in our area came to be in foreclosure.

There's a letter from a lady castigating Wal Mart for a tv commercial in which they spilled the beans to her kids about the Easter Bunny.

This morning I see an article here on the DU about some woman who is driving a custom painted Hummer around the U.S. apparently to extol the virtues of dying for the gas to fill the damned thing.

I've worked for a major catalog tele-operation, where half of the year we'd get calls from people telling us they were going to put their kids on the line and we were to tell the kid that we were Santa's elf and if they aren't good they won't get __________ and the other half of the year we had to deal with people having nervous breakdowns over barbie dolls.

Our state is contemplating a deal for 2-6 new coal burning powerplants that won't have any effect whatsoever on climate change.

And on the tv there is an endless string of talking Corporate heads parsing out the liabilities of actually talking about Racism, White & Black, in America. Better to avoid and double-talk.

You're supposed to shop for your church in order to find one that does not trouble you with anything that is uncomfortable. Yes, I lay the blame for most of our most powerful delusions squarely at the feet of churches, who, for $$$$$$$$$$$$$, have FAILED to communicate the difference between Faith and delusion.

I'm sure you can think of hundreds of other lies we tell ourselves and then attack others who want reality for not "believeing".

These things are only the tip of a huge "ice-berg" that will sink this country.
