water. VERY interesting. Basic story is huge Toilet to Tap industrial water treatment facility in southern CA vs. conservation of water resources. Added to this issue are numerous discharges of raw sewage into the Colorado R so if you get your water from there, it would no doubt be better to have the new facility than not.

Somehow this issue is heating up AFTER there was no opposition to the facility, and it is now already built so if you don't want treated sewage water, tough luck for you. :shrug:

This is the largest facility of its kind. I am sure it uses a lot of fossil fuels to run the pumps. :scared: What happens in a few years on the Peak Oil decline?
