Was Rumsfeld antisocial or insane?
He sure as hell wasn't normal.

That cutesy shit he used to do when not answering questions (and the press fawning on his sorry, ancient ass).

His smile when he spoke of the war.

His fucked up micromanaging.

Was he nuts or just a mean of fuck?

I think he was nuts.

I think his buddy Cheney is nuts, too. Maybe even more nuts.

for both Rumsfeld and Cheney. If they were nuts, that would imply that they aren't really at fault, and they are sure at fault. These bastards knew exactly what the hell they were doing. They purposefully deceived the American people.

4. Perhaps sociopathy is ascendant, evolutionarily speaking
That's what worries me.
It seems that cold, heartless bastards are increasingly taking over, while those of us burdened with a conscience are being overrun.
Imagine how liberating it must be to care nothing about human rights and to lack even a shred of compassion.
A key to success?
Perhaps.

46. I can see that superior personality trait in his handwriting.
His big capitals look down on the others. He is bigger than life and out there. Is that a money bag in his "D"? That hook in his lower zone "F" is a hook and sharp. Ouch. That "o" on has a loop to keep secrets.

Handwriting only tells us what we already know.

in the future. Like they've been re-invented and we forgot their evil deeds.

Shouldn't Rumsfeld be in jail for his illegal use of Depleted Uranium polluting the earth and destroying the health of our military over there and the Iraqis? That does go around the earth so we too may have had some in our blood, etc.

I tell you what. I won't vote for any candidate who won't address these problems and debt caused by the past administration leaders and liars.

Edited on Mon Mar-24-08 11:29 PM by mac2
From "our military" to a world mercinary force with our tax dollars. A military answerable to a few Cons. Everything secret to we the people who pay for it.

The Defence Department had a robbery (during Rumsfeld) of trillions which are still missing. "Change of face law" allowed him to leave government with his bag of pillage and corporate director seat.

When they wanted to make our government "smaller" bases were closed. Now they are rumored to be training for Brits and mercinaries. Maybe prisons for "terrorists" within (RW political enemies).

A new defence system which left us broke and un-defended for what ever reason (disaster, invasion, etc.).

Anyone worried but me?

40. Wolfie and Rumsfeld were in Leo Strauss' class
Edited on Tue Mar-25-08 09:21 AM by mac2
at the University of Chicago. They were taught they were the elite few meant to rule.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Leo_Strauss About Leo Strauss.

If reading through this give you a headache read this article. It sums it up.

http://www.alternet.org/story/15935 The Neo Cons and their goals.

I'm sure their parents didn't struggle to educate them to be such people.

At that time in the Chicago area not that many went to college. It was 15% or something like that. Is this the home of the Neo Cons? The arrogant and immoral few meant to rule? Educated Al Capons?

I run into area people who think because they have a college degree they are above everyone else (intelligent, superior, etc.). I've never seen so many compared to NE or TN, etc. They assume since you aren't bragging you don't have a degree. Should they even associate with you? Who are you anyway?

As in any society I've met some very intelligent and nice people so I can not put them all into a little box. But there are others...

42. There's been little, if any, discussion of Leo Strauss around here lately..
Thanks for raising this issue again. Newer posters should have an opportunity to understand who and what he was. How he believed only the elites have a right to make decisions for the "masses" and how it was ok to lie to advance your agenda. Also his idea of esoteric and exoteric messages.

Most of the slime currently infesting our so-called government are Straussians.

Edited on Tue Mar-25-08 10:01 AM by mac2
They want to be medieval kings and lords. I am convinced some people become mentally ill when given power. Lincoln said, you can test a persons character when you see how they handle power.

After WWII we should have taken the monarchy from the Japanese Emperor who was allowed to live...even though his decisions killed many. I think they didn't do it because of the British Queen who wanted to stay in power. We should have no royals in our modern world. It is undemocratic and sometimes dangerous since one person has too much power and wealth.

These people won't give up their power. I saw an advertisement in our food store (TVs with ads and "advice for food preparation") by Madeline Albright. She was a college President for awhile but is no longer. I guess she's job hunting until another Democrat is back in power.

That is what Henry Kissenger, of all people, said to Arthur Schlesinger about his colleague in the Nixon WH. The quote was contained in the Historian's journal which was recently published and is an especially good read.
Can any of us imagine how bad a person you must be to have Kissenger talk that way about him ?
