7. you bet it is
Love is a powerful force. Love for ones fellow person is a good thing whereas love of money is why we're in this mess to begin with. Seems that even religion is driven by the love of money too, I often wonder what the deal is with that

2. CNN is helping to distract Americans from the real problems this country faces....
Don't believe the noise they're generating. Turning off my television was one of the best decisions I've ever made. On the rare occasions when I watch TV-- once or twice a year-- I'm shocked and amazed by the drek people willingly allow into their homes via the cable.

4. I only catch it because my wife and I switched schedules in the morning
She takes the little one to daycare now so I have it on while I am getting ready. I do from time to time check out the MSM- it is good for a laugh until I realize that this is the truth to some people

5. Money is the fuel which keeps our lives and our country moving.
It pays for our food and shelter, the big and little things in our lives. It keeps our country moving in the right direction or the wrong direction. It can be used to make peoples' lives better. or it can be used to fuel foreign wars which line the pockets of a select few, but which will ultimately collapse the country like Rome. Life is about choices and consequences--bad choices, bad consequences.

6. Tanking economy, falling value of the dollar, out of control inflation,........
continual loss of GOOD PAYING jobs combined with plant closings should be important to EVERYONE. Let US not forget the contribution wall street, corporate america, corporate world and the filthy rich have made to the TOTAL destruction of our nations economy, finances and specially future.

8. To most people, the economy really is issue #1.
A war in a faraway land most people can't find on a map...that's something happening to other people, for the most part.

BUT, losing their jobs, homes and $4/gallon gas...that's happening to THEM, here at home.

I'm not saying I agree, mind you. I'm saying this is how many Americans think.
