Space Station and Space Shuttle May be visible in your sky soon
Edited on Tue Mar-25-08 12:50 PM by BOSSHOG
Space Shuttle Endeavor is due to undock from the space station tonight and land at Kennedy Space Station tomorrow. You may be able to see one or both go by your area.

Click on the "go to country" on the left of the screen, pick your state and then the city nearest you. They make quite an impressive sight zipping across the sky.

1. Hey Boss
On its way to the Cape, does it fly over 'Bossville'?

If I remember right, it breaks out of the atmosphere and clouds near Texas?

2. Our best shot
is thursday about 8:00 PM for three minutes from WNW to NNE, the clearest part of the sky we have. Always a fascinating sight. Would they be the submarines of the Vast deep blue Sky Ocean?

3. looks like all the rest of the week will be good sightings here
and the time is right, 8:30 ish, so I should be able to get some friends to go out and have a see for themselves. Thanks for the heads up as now I might have time to find my binoculars so I can get a better look see.

9. Groundtracks for this evenings landing.
http://www.nasa.gov/mission_pages/shuttle/shuttlemissions/sts123/news/landing.html

Two possibilities for landing at Kennedy tonight, first on orbit 248 which will make touchdown at 7:05 and one on the next orbit - 249, for touchdown at 8:39
