From NBC's Libby Leist

The State Department confirms that two U.S. citizens have died in Iraq this week from indirect fire by rocket and mortar attacks in the Green Zone.

The first person, a contractor for the US Army, died on Monday, March 24, and this afternoon, we have confirmation that another U.S. citizen has died from the latest round of fire.

1. I hope they finished the helicopter pads on the roofs.
They may need them sooner rather than later.

2. Yep --
We've already seen that once. I'm horrified we didn't learn our lesson.

Biden said "mark my words -- if we don't make political progress, we'll see the last guy leaving hanging off the helicopter as its getaway."

4. Obama needs Biden's intellect especially when it comes to the
real issues in the ME. Who really believes that the Sunni and Shiite will even get close to making nice with each other without each side getting some assurance that the fighting will end. Biden's plan got the approval from the Senate! The Iraqis would like the basics of life, clean water, fuel, electricity, etc., and distributing the oil revenue evenly would be a good start.

The Bush insanity is mind boggling - - and there are those that don't get it here in the U.S.. I watched his speech and could just see the dummies missing the whole point of his rant. He wants that damned agreement with Iraq that the U.S. will be there to help until they are FREE.......

It appears we are sinking fast in Iraq and no one wants to face reality. They want to rant about religion and all that Reverend Wright has spouted. They skip over the radical religious leaders that hate in their own special way (gays, abortion, non-believers, on and on......

8. It's my belief (and hope)
that Obama realizes what a resource he has in Joe.

Biden's plan got the approval from the Senate TWICE! And it was signed by Bush! I don't understand why no efforts have been made in that direction.

9. Also, Clinton and Obama agreed with Biden all the time
during the debates. Now they seldom mention the ME issue. McCain's no help, all he says is the surge is working and Iraq is Lookin Good.....
