I'll be darned! Someone on Faux News spoke the absolute truth.
This morning I was availing myself of an absolutely appallingly bad buffet breakfast at a motel when I glanced up and noticed Faux and Friends on a television set. They were talking about some staged thingy or something at what must have been a live concert. *shrug*

Anyway, the brunette guy says that he was totally fooled by it and thought it was real. Then he goes on to make a bigger idiot of himself by talking about Bruce Springsteen's concert where Courtney Cox breaks her way on to the stage. His co-stars (sorry, can't apply the word co-anchor here) laugh and tell him that this was also a staged event and Cox had been cast for the roll. He turns a pink and then says, "sheesh it's gotten to where I can't tell what is real anymore."

I wanted to scream, "Well duh! Look who you work for jackass."

Anyway, I went up to the registration desk and asked sweetly if they would mind turning on the news on their television. I was told they already had it on Fox and I said, "I know, but I'd like to watch the news would you please turn it to CNN or MSNBC?" (Not that I have all that much more regard for those networks either.) The comment didn't seem to register, but we got MSNBC in the dining room. :)

2. Great post! Hey, at least CNN does news in the morning. Joe only

does politics with five minutes of news every hour. Today Show puts a microphone in the face of someone who suffered a traumatic loss after they do five minutes of news. Then they tell us how to make Halloween masks out of dryer lint.

3. "I can't tell what is real anymore." That's FOX's mission statement.

4. If I am in a bar where Fux is on and the bartender asks what'll I have...
I always say, "Anything but that crap".

There are always other bars, you know.

Good for you for speaking up, Patriot.
