I finally figured it out. If we leave Iraq, Iran gets the oil! Watching CNN talking about |
|
the latest uptick in violence, they said that in Basra the anti American militias are being supplied by Iran. That was the CNN reporter in Iraq, not a bushie. Cheney is afraid he will lose the oil money to Iran! Makes sense. We stay in Iraq keeping Iran from the oil, we bomb Iran and invade there and wa-la, Cheney gets country 1 & 2 in PNAC's plan and all the oil wealth he can get until his ticker gives out.

4. Now, why would Iraq let Iran get their oil? |
|
That crap makes no sense. It's all more of the BushCo fear mongering. They want their oil money, the rest of us get screwed anyways. Besides, I thought the oil profits would fund our war...

5. If Iraq breaks out in complete civil war, there will be the opening for Iran to take control. |

6. So, is it better that we stay and take the oil? |
|
There will be an opportunity for a lot of different groups to control the oil, including the Iraqis. I'm not saying it would be easy, but if they believe it's important, they'll find a way. We know this administration hasn't helped them. Cheney would rather have them weak and dependent on America...they're easier to take advantage of that way.

we are enforcing these borders. It makes no sense to me. This region has been shifting for thousands of years, why are these borders so durable now? They have no regard for history or ethnicity, so I can see that many people in the region do not recognize them as legitimate.

11. I'm not saying we should stay. I'm just thinking of the reason Bushco wants to stay. |
|
I want us out of Iraq. My neighbor's son was killed by an IED there. I was never for the war. I hate war. I was in one in Vietnam.
