story if one digs deeper. Most likely Walmart had some legal claim on a reimbursement of the medical expenses they paid out in case of a judgment or something equally boring like that. Laws regarding disability for on-the-job injury pretty much screw over the employee. It's the same no matter who you work for.

W-M was within its rights to do so (first saw on 360). I saying that I try to live by " Just Because You Can, Doesn't Mean You Should " fits here. With all of the "Green" PR that Wal-Mart is getting, this isn't what they had in mind. If Sam Walton was living, this would have been nipped in the bud.

He did it really classily: Last night when he brought it up, he basically pointed out that Walmart isn't the spawn of Satan, and they can sometimes even help communities, but that the reason that people think of them as a synonym for evil is crap like this.
