So when a Democrat wins the Presidency
And Democrats start to get our fiscal house in order, what do we do when the Republican Federal Reserve begins to raise Interest rates and our debt expense begins to eat up our entire budget. Bush* has put America in a very perilous situation if and when Interest rates increase. Even with rates lower than any time since the fifties we still pay out as much in interest on our debt as we do our entire defense budget. What if interest rates go from 2.75% to 5% or even higher. Remember when Reagan was President interest was over 10%. Clinton had us on a path to reduce the debt and thus our payments on it. Now with the Bush* Cabal almost doubling that debt in just a few years they have set us up to be unable to fund anything other than military and debt expense..Is there any solution to this?

1. The media is going to have to get off it's ass...
...starting November 5, 2008 and until people can stop believing GOP propaganda, the media is going to have to start telling the truth about hwo is to blame for what.

I fear people are going to forget who was ruining running this country's finances when it took a dump.

It will certainly take time to come to full fruition, but the recession that is coming has the GOP's name all over it.

5. True, but...
...Congress has been hindered by the GOP. Yet, how many Americans know this?

How many Americans know how many votes it takes to override a veto?

How many Americans know which laws have been vetoed and have not been overridden (?) by Congress due to GOP Party loyalty?

If the media were doing its job, Congress would not be a problem.

3. Barring any more borrow and spend republicans
we should be back to Pre Bush in about 50 years. I still haven't figured out why they think it is better to mortgage our country to china rather than tax at a even fair rate and pay our debts.

Selfish bastards, They cannot envision a future, only a now where they want to have their cake and eat it too.

Maybe they are hoping that the rapture will take them before the bills become due.
