A BUZZFLASH NEWS ALERT

The official death toll of Iraqis who have died in this war has finally hit 90,000. The official high mark is 90,079 with a low number in the range of 82,559. This is in a war that has gone on over four years all contained on Iraqi soil, and we are supposed to believe that only 90,000 Iraqis have died in this war.

Then again, in a country where George W. "Is our children learning" Bush is the leader, our math skills aren't too sharp.

The unofficial count, from justforeignpolicy.org, may not be completely accurate either. But it is beyond fair to assume that its total is much closer to reality than the "official" count. The unofficial count is 1,194,935, a difference of 1,104,856. The official count is just 7.5% of the unofficial count.

It's a disgrace that we don't have an official, reasoanble assessment of the damage we are doing to this country where we aim to bring "democracy."

A BUZZFLASH NEWS ALERT

1. Buzzflash? Where's their requisite Clinton slam?
Maybe you snipped it, but I thought the only "news" buzzflash carried anymore was the latest drudge/limbaugh/hannity talking point about Clinton and her latest racism, killings, whatever.

I wonder if Mark Karlin (of the "Karlin & Associates" PR firm as well as Buzzflash's owner) lost his job with the Obama campaign?

2. Well, your bias is showing, too.
But thanks for your concern about dead Iraqis. :eyes:
