Can't sleep tonight because I'm haunted by this image...

What's in it for America if this man wins?

http://images.google.com/imgres?imgurl=&imgrefurl=http://thinkprogress.org/katrina-timeline/&h=198&w=221&sz=12&hl=en&start=14&tbnid=YMe40ToXCy7oLM:&tbnh=96&tbnw=107&prev=/images%3Fq%3Dmccain%2Band%2Bbush%2Beat%2Bbirthday%2Bcake%26gbv%3D2%26hl%3Den%26sa%3DG

Think about what some folks in New Orleans were doing on the very day that this picture was taken of McCain and Bush laughing it up and taking every advantage of the "Good Life"...

People were still trapped by the rising, toxic, filthy, flood water and starving for their last breaths in sweltering New Orleans attics waiting for help from a government that they'd trusted, supported and financed all their lives, that never came as expected, when their very lives depended upon it.

John and George weren't thinking of those poor unfortunate folks and the desperate need in New Orleans that day at the birthday party...George and John were on a more important mission on that sad day. They were out west selling the privatization of Social Security so that your Social Security money could be invested in the stock market. A stock market that we are watching wilt and struggle for it's life today.

I'm REALLY haunted by the thought of John McCain carrying on the programs and ideas of George Bush I & II and Ronald Reagan.

It's hard for me to be proud of an America owned and operated by Red China and OPEC!

Sleep well boys and girls...while you still can!

That's was what Charlie Manson named the race war of whites on blacks that was supposed to divide everybody so he could rise from the bottomless pit and take over the world. Pretty good analysis of the current political strategy of the Republicans. ... Well said! :)

6. The problem is, there's lots of people who are too stupid to see this.
Ever since January 2001 we've had Saint Ronnie on steroids. For example, king size trickle down tax cuts for the wealthy elite, from income to capital gains to corporate to inheritance. And McInsane would keep doing the same thing, producing nothing but even richer rich people and even more massive debt.

It is painfully, glaringly obvious this bullshit doesn't work but Republicans make with the excuses like they always do. I even saw it suggested that the economy is in the crapper because of market fears that we might end up with a Democratic president next year.

But what are Democrats doing? Slugging it out and spending all their money in a bitter and protracted primary fight. I hate this stupid primary election setup because by the time my state gets a turn, everything has already been decided and my vote doesn't count. But now I'm starting to hate it because everything hasn't been decided.

I'm worried too. As always, we're doing our best to snatch defeat from the jaws of victory.

7. "When the going gets tough the tough go fishing!"
Reagan pulled off the "dumbing down of America" and the living proof is pResident Dummy!

"Are you better off NOW than you were four years ago?" For an answer to that look at the gas pump prices and your grocery bill. Your dollar is hardly worth a dime

McCain can't afford to bail out somebody that is about to lose everything they've worked for all their lives, but he's all for going right on spending billions in Iraq and sending another 4,000 Amrican kids to an early grave.

How can anyone sleep well during this American Nightmare. The end of which is nowhere in sight!

8. PS:
If McCain becomes new GOPer King, more BUshit and disaster is all you can expect to TRICKLE DOWN to "We The People".

Eating cake at the country club is more fun than saving lives I guess, in "I Got Mine John's" little world.

What would a real leader have been doing in the aftermath of Katrina?

It haunts me to ponder on what America Could Have Been, had the will of the people prevailed on 12/12/2000.

14. That picture should be placed on a map of the US with a pic from NOLA showing the devastation
and emphasizing the distance. In the background this song should be playing reminding us how people were "waving the flag" but nobody helped them (an obvious reference to the flag waving of the "patriotic" zombies whould couldn't even care less about their fellow Americans)

Listen to the song here -> http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dPjATjFlIqk

I have been laying low for awhile and resting up the old ticker to get ready for the campaign to turn hot and NASTY!

McCain can't hide his sorry record the way shrub did. John has screwn the working class American for many moons and the proof is out there. I hope whoever our party nominates has the will to fight it out and not pull any punches. The life of our country is at stake. No time left to play centrist do-gooder. Look where going along to get along has gotten us.

Any fool knows that even though a rattlesnake is kind of colorful and cute, it's not something to play dollies with, unless you're tired of breathing. We need to get as down and dirty as it takes to beat Karl's kind.

The best the GOP has to offer is a man who kissed Bush's ass after Bush trashed his family in 2000!

If McCain couldn't or wouldn't protect his own family from Karl's trashy, nonstop, political attacks in 2000, how could McCain be expected to protect the country from an attack of some kind from abroad?

McCain wussed out and let an AWOL coward kick sand in his face in 2000!

29. John goes the way the payola blows.(same as George & Dick)
John is for John.

Is it right?...Not something that matters much to a dude like John...What's In It For John is where John's heart and soul LIES!

Who has John ALWAYS bailed out? Look at the record.

John don't think a person that works like a dog at a local greasy spoon should make $5.00 an hour, but he's okay with EXXON charging that same guy $5.00 a gallon for gas to get to work. Or Wall-Mart charging that same guy $5.00 a gallon for milk for his little kids. John could care less about the guy's little kids until they are old enough to send to a shit-hole like Iraq to die defending the Exxon stockholder's and KB&R's gravy train.

John claims he don't take any kind of political kickback or favor from the people who fund his campaigns, but the record is inconsistent with the song and dance John does while cruising from coast to coast on the shit talk express, on Exxon's/wall street's handouts and perks.

I wish I was one 1,000,000,000,000,000th as holy as John claims to be and that Newt had a feather up his Cheney...because we'd both be tickled plum to freakin' death! BTW do-gooders out there, John's best buddy Joe don't even believe in JHC!

I'm sending you a barge load of anti-Freeper and tic Spray ASAP to help keep the mega-stink down on your side of the pond.

20. good picture for the alleged 28% of HRC backers who'd vote for McCain,
Edited on Sat Mar-29-08 11:07 AM by abq e streeter
and the similarly alleged 19% of Obama backers who'd do the same. As I've mentioned on posts before, I'm not particularly a fan of Obama , and am flat out disgusted by Hillary's campaign lately. But how can anyone who believes in the principles of the Democratic Party consider, even for a second, voting for a republican for president ( or any other office for that matter)? And yes, I'm very aware that much of our party's "leadership" has only a passing connection to what I consider the principles of our party, but knowing that significant numbers of Democrats would vote for this criminal/fascist operation called the republican party to continue in the presidency is something I simply can't comprehend. I will be angry and disgusted if Hillary is our nominee, and will disappointed but crossing my fingers and hoping for the best if its Obama, but I SURE AS HELL AIN'T VOTING FOR NO REPUBLICAN! Please , if you know potential McCain voters, beg them to think about what another republican presidency would mean.

27. McCain only needs about 22% to win in this state, to win it hands...
down here, because 30% of the voting machines in this state and most other states, are still touch screen devices, without any real airtight way to check the validity of the vote count.(still no paper trails on every type of device here)

22%+30%=52%...Most states won't do a recount if the margin of "Victory" is 2% or more.

How many other states have voting machines that can be rigged?

Did the democrats win back congress in 2006 or was the Diebold fix in again? Did the GOP not tamper with the mid term election vote count, so that they could set us up for another election theft in 2008 when it REALLY will matter most?

With the slim majority the democrats have had in congress since 2006 have the democrats been able to stop anything Bush really wanted to do, or to fix anything that Bush has ruined?

If the election is close enough in 2008 do you really expect the GOP to not use every dirty crooked trick in the book to steal another one?

Do you actually TRUST the GOP to play fair?

Our guys are running against the corporate owned media, the GOP and crooked voting machines.

NBC and CNBC use the Wall Street Journal Polls as their measuring stick in their coverage of the campaigns to gauge the opinion of the voters. The same man that owns the Wall Street Journal owns FOX. The man that still pushes the buttons and calls the shots at NBC/CNBC is still Jack Welch. Tim Taterhead is still Cheney and Bush's Go to guy when they want to spread their bullshit!

So burn baby burn, :grr: but don't expect me to believe that old load of stale crap that you buy so freely!

I heard the same old shit in 2004..."Bush don't have a chance against Kerry!"...Yeah Right!

(Bush/Blackwell/Diebold did have a better than fair chance though) :nuke: And a GOPer will take any kind of win they can get, every time!

You can't blindly trust folks who repeatedly lie to your face day in and day out, steal everything that ain't nailed down and then expect a fair outcome. People like Karl and the used care salesmen depend on people who BELIEVE their tall tales without any proof what-so-ever.

Until about November 15th... Show us your undisputable proof that what you predict is true, oh great and omnipotent oracle of all things to come and go and I'll gladly dare to blindly hope one more again.

I hope you're wrong about McCain winning, but I believe NOTHING at all anymore until I see it with my own eyes...NOTHING! And then I still have my doubts, depending upon how, when and where, I see it!

Trust is now and prolly forever extinct in my neck of the woods, thanks to massive overkill of the facts by lying liars...that is all...zip....beeeeep...
