Weird software glitches on the handheld trading systems.
Bad housing report as well, may send markets downward.

right now, we're way above the territory where we'd see the curbs go into effect.
What's going on now may be a technical limit in the volume that the messaging system can handle.
It's being reported as sporadic, but this is one of many error that happened yesterday.

just because the market goes lower, it does not mean that the economy will go in the tank. the stock market is a very small part of the overall economy. it will reflect how the economy is doing, but not affect the economy.
