1. Yes, and by all accounts they are getting ready to break another country...
I believe that an Iran hit is inevitable and it's now just a matter of time. Would not surprise me if the US uses Nukes on this hit as well.

2. That's Why He Was Applauded
You know most of Bill Maher's audience is liberal, yet Michael Ware comes on and points out the necessity of staying in Iraq and gets applauded. My theory on this is because he was at least honest about it and doesn't seem to have a political agenda.

I personally am tired of being talked to like a child when it comes to this war, tired of being deceived and tired of wild assumptions based on faulty logic being accepted as fact.

3. What percent of the Iraqi people want Americans to stop slaughtering them though Michael?
Don't they count?

Its like a rapist sticking around to tidy up the place a bit after committing his crime.

4. that is a great point
It doesn't have to be our country - it would probably be much better if it was NOT our country trying to fix things there.

5. The US will never admit that it can't ...
just "make things all better".

If we could say ... to the UN... to the Arab League... to damn near anybody... "Hey, we fucked up. We'll pay you - and Iraq - money if you can go in there and straighten this mess out."

Having said that, it may not be possible for anybody to put this particular Humpty Dumpty back together. If you'll recall, the US had to settle it's differences with a bloody Civil War... over 600,000 Americans died in that little dust-up. And the problems weren't even solved then!

6. It reminds me of the owner of a china shop
asking the bull to stick around to help clean it up.

60% of Iraqis support attacks on the occupying troops. That says it all right there.
