Good lord, could Michael Hayden get more boring! |

Hayden and Timmy are putting me to sleep. That's the new CIA mantra I think: "We will put America's enemies to sleep." I never thought I'd hearken back to the exciting days of nearly an hour ago when I was wide awake listening to that young firestorming brigand, Joe Lieberman on This Week. :)

That is rough. I don't think he would even know what to say if asked that. :)

I overheard this from the television in the other room (I'm trying to quote, but it's really just my recollection):
RUSSERT: They used waterboarding in the Spanish Inquisition and the Khmer Rouge used waterboarding under Pol Pot. Do you think that waterboarding is torture?
HAYDEN: It's not important what I think. It's important what the Department of Justice thinks.
Asshole. We can't get the Attorney General to commit to whether or not he flosses his teeth. Your comment says flatly you don't give a shit if it's torture or not; you're only worried about going to jail. And I hope you do, indeed, have your day in court.
==============
EDIT: How incredibly stupid is it to call a guy like Hayden an asshole in today's Big Brother/1984 environment? Do they have live blogging from Gitmo? :scared:

5. To be fair, McCain would be the one taking the nap |
|
Although, you can't blame him, he does hang out with Lieberman all the time and that guy is a walking cure for insomnia.

6. Key Point is Hayden & Bush did not know about Mailiki's plans |
|
Edited on Sun Mar-30-08 10:49 AM by MissWaverly
to take on the Sader militia groups in Basra, WHY, did they not KNOW, once again a key event has occurred which we are clueless on. With all their bending of constitution and their rendition flights, they are still CLUELESS. After 5 years, it is beyond pathetic. AND Maliki is supposed to be our ALLY, we are supposed to be propping up his government AND he doesn't tell us about a major offensive ahead of time. WHAT does that tell us about the effectiveness of the BUSH team in Iraq. ALSO, what the average American does not realize is that this is the 2nd largest city in Iraq and is outside the control of the Maliki government. What does that tell us about the "SURGE" and its effectiveness. That is the Gazillion Dollar Question.
Quick somebody find an old sermon the MSM can focus on, the people might start asking real questions.
