This is a good website for finding other people who share your opinions. It's a place to exchange information about what's going on in the world, and ideas about what to do about it, but battles fought here aren't going to change anything. I'm not saying that there shouldn't be arguing. Arguing is a good sign of democracy. But this isn't a battlefield. It's an arsenal.

between us and the lurking freepers who troll here continuously. It is a cloak and dagger battle over political supremacy on the Internets!

Now do we make an impact on the physical realm? I will leave that one up to people here who I know have made a difference out there.

2. It's a battlefield if we're just fighting

for the sake of fighting. But if we're fighting to actually change something for the better in the world, then this isn't the battlefield. Cyberspace arguing changes nothing. It's only useful as an arsenal, where we gather across greater distances and in greater numbers than can easily be done in reality, and provide each other with information and ideas about how to fight back in the real world.

Sometimes I miss and just get an angry DU'er, because trollcrap is slippery and I stumble and make a mistake.....

Hey, I was here for the Nader wars. This place is now 1,000 times worse than that time.

This place used to be fun.
