I'm a little freaked out. Tell me I'm not losing my mind. |
|
I was just trying to login on ZNet. I screwed up somehow and got the message that my login failed. Then the page came back up normally as if I were logged in, but where it normally says, "Hello, HerdinCats" it said "Hello, cia."
For like half a second, I thought, "WTF? Who is cia (pronouncing it seeya in my little peabrain)" Then it hit me like a ton of bricks. CENTRAL INTELLIGENCE AGENCY, that's who.
What do you all make of this? Are they tracking what I sites I visit? Was it just a weird bug? Are they just tracking everybody who visits Znet? I always knew that we could be spied on online, but this brought it close to home.
Has anyone else experienced anything like this? Am I going crazy?

2. Well, if I worked for the CIA and was tracking people at Znet, I would not |
|
set things up so that it says "Hello CIA" at any given time. :)

6. That wouldn't be very stealthy. You'd think they could use AIC or something. |

But it freaked me out. Why would that come up?
Maybe somebody at znet is just messin' with people.

They simply can't track of all of us. We far outnumber them.

13. Maybe an email problem for me |
|
A couple of week's ago I sent myself article's from DU to two different email address's & have still not received them. Since that my incoming email has dropped way down to almost nothing & the last three day's I couldn't send out any email's. I don't know if I'm reading more into this than I should or what. The word's RED ALERT were in the title of the first email I tried sending to myself for later reading.

And it was probably somebody at znet messin' with the heads of gullible people like me.
But, hell, it makes sense to be paranoid in times like these. They do spy on ordinary American's going about our business. And if they're gonna spy on websites it would be the ones like Znet. (And Du.)

18. Of course I'm not that important. Doesn't mean they don't observe |
|
who reads dissident websites. They are the paranoid ones, seeing threats where they don't exist, thinking that they need to monitor what we read and write.

16. The fact that your paranoid does not mean they're not watching you. |
|
Creepy to think that someone felt the need to check you'r Znet, though.
