It was okay to boo Clinton and Gore at sporting events back in the 1990s,
but it's disgraceful to boo Bush in 2008. That's what I'm hearing from the republican hypocrites. Remember all the laughing and joking they were doing on the internet boards about ten years ago? "Clinton deserved the boos - Gore deserved the boos". Today they're saying you should respect the office whether you like the President or not. Republican memories are shorter than their penises.

3. Yeah. It's also hypocritical to condemn the booing of Gore and Clinton and not condemn booing Bush.
Pick a side of this issue and stick with it.

Many in the GOP tend to be idiots. Let's not join them.

4. So, you are comparing Clinton and Gore to
a war criminal??? Sure sounds like it to me. Please tell me I misread your comment. I will boo AND condemn a war criminal every minute of every day.

18. So, I simply say that I don't like people being booed at sporting events...
... and then you decide I am putting Gore, Clinton, and "war criminals" in exactly the same light.

I have no idea why people like you constantly have stick rammed deep up your backside nor do I understand why you feel it is necessary to share your ridiculous hyperbole as if it were some remarkable revelation of truth.

We both know that I was not comparing Gore and Clinton to Bush in any way other than to say that I don't like either of them being booed. If you continue to make silly extrapolations, it is a reflection of your goofiness, not my words.

But, this is DU afterall. I have no doubt you will not back off.

5. Booing politicians at sporting events has been around for decades,
but I've never seen or heard so many complaints as I've as I have today. On talk radio and on various sports boards, there is a wave of republican indignation about last night's booing. This didn't happen when Clinton/Gore were booed in the 1990s. The democrats said very little about it back then.

8. Any criticism of Clinton was valid. I was coaching a softball game one night
and when the other coach and I went up for the pre-game chat with the umpire, he started off by making an anti-Clinton joke. It was offensive, but what could I do?

Clinton bashing started in 1992, and it continues to this day.
