Today is my 20th anniversary...

Today is my 20th anniversary...
And my husband hasn't killed me yet.

He's a patient man.

Why April 1st? When we got together many people said within 6 months we'd be looking for other people. We decided April 1st was perfect. Because every year they'd be bigger fools.

And our marriage has lasted longer than nearly every straight counterpart.

4. Today is my Aunt Lillian's birthday.... she'd be 97? 102?

She was a single woman all her life. No children of her own. A first grade school teacher
all her life and she left her baby grand piano to the elementary school she taught at in
the inner city for 55 years when she died. She was a very special person. ;)

My husband and I also celebrate the 1st as the day we met...
We couldn't remember the exact day it was, but it was more or less April 1st... 1976!
