1. What crap

His captors repeatedly broke his arms and refused to set them right. He can't lift his elbows over his shoulders as a result of this kind of "softer treatment". I'll never insult a vet for doing his job. Swiftboating is evil, no matter who does it.

I'll listen extra long to a vet vent against McCain and his disregard for the lives of our troops in Iraq. But I won't listen to lies.

But this is where we are at a disadvantage with some voters. Our side cares whether or not it tells the truth. It makes it harder for us to get the vote of people who believe everything they see on the Web. :sarcasm:

There are plenty of reasons why McCain shouldn't be president. But they have nothing to do with his military service or his time as a POW in Vietnam.

6. My only problem with this crap...

is that the MSM has not uttered one single word about it. For a while there, Kerry and his problems with the swiftboaters was the lead story in the MSM.

I've looked at Vietvets against McCain, and it's mostly the same kind of bullshit they tried to pin on Kerry. But... there are a few items there that should at least be raised for the public to see. The media never actually said that Kerry was a phony, but they did give a platform to the rightwingnut assholes who were slandering him. I don't expect the media to do anything different to McCain than was done to Kerry.
