The "new" Regis and Kelly of Morning Talk television... |
|
I must confess, I watch Joe Scarborough and Mika Brezinski almost every morning, because I love to watch people talk about politics. But their interactions are much like the Regis and Kelly Ripa Show with their snide comments and artificial attacks upon each other. But, they always have a lot of good guests that I enjoy listening too.
However, I wonder if we are not being distracted in a very big way. With all the huge problems caused by this White House and their policies, we are all focusing on the "horse race" between Hillary and Obama, and sometimes a comment about John McCain, the Republican. I think about "familiarity breeds contempt" and whether or not all this attention will backfire on the Democrats in November and work to the Republican's advantage? Just some morning thoughts...

Of all the morning "chat" shows it seems to be the only one whose main focus is discussing the news.
I have to admit though, I do tune in partly to see if Mika will just up and shove a ball gag into Joe's mouth at some point.
