OK, I picked up "The Shock Doctrine" again after taking a mental-health break from reading it.....
..... and I'm halfway thru the South Africa chapter, and I'm already about to suffer another outrage breakdown. :mad:
It's a great book, but reading it definitely requires some intestinal fortitude.

1. It is a hard book to read
Inhumanity in the name of profit is much harder to stomach than simple inhumanity.

2. Yeah, it took me a while to finish it. I had to keep taking breaks so that I
wouldn't get depressed or so angry that I broke something.

Imperial life in the Emerald City by Rajiv Chanrasekaran.
I've started reading The Shock Doctrine skipping to chapter
