I was actually interested in working for the YDN, having been on the weekly at the school from which I transferred. Those dreams died when I received a phone call from the Daily at midnight one night. "These people expect me to be up at midnight?!"

6. I love reading the YDN

and I'm sure many of the bright students on its staff really work hard.

My friend Eric is apply Yale RD next year for the Class of 2013. He got his GED two years ago and is now 25 and going to graduate from community college with a near-3.9 GPA and many honors. He wants to apply as an entering freshman just so he can get the full experience. And now that they dropped tuition for those making under $60k, he's even more enthusiastic about going. Great school :)
