McCain Wants Russia Tossed From G8
http://hotlineblog.nationaljournal.com/archives/2008/03/do_svidanya_mcc.html

John McCain told reporters today that Russia should be removed from the G8, and he questionned the authenticity of the recent presidential contest in Russia, saying it was "an election that would not pass the smell test in any functioning democracy."

"I think that I would stand up to the Russians very strongly in this respect," McCain said. "I don't think that they should attend G8 meetings, because the G8 is based on membership of countries that believe in free and open economies, free and open societies, and free and fair elections, and I don't think they should be included in the next G8 meeting."

India should replace Russia in G8: McCain
http://timesofindia.indiatimes.com/India_should_replace_Russia_in_G8/articleshow/2905310.cms

India and Brazil should replace Russia in the Group of Eight (G8) forum, US Republican presidential candidate John McCain has said in a major foreign policy address that defends his hardline views on the ongoing war on terror while forsaking the Bush administration's unilateralism.

. .

But it was his stab at India's old ally Russia, a country with which the Bush administration forged a close partnership in the beginning, that surprised analysts. Warning against the dangers posed by a ''revanchist'' Russia, McCain said the US should ensure that the G8, the group of eight highly industrialized states, becomes again a club of leading market democracies: it should include Brazil and India but exclude Russia, he said.

. . .

McCain did not address the rise of China in the geo-political context, nor mention the recent troubles in Tibet. But he acknowledged China and India as ''economic powerhouses'' while rejecting any idea of US isolationism or protectionism, saying Americans should lead by example and participate in globalization.

Hope you didn't throw out all your SPF 20,000,000 'sunblock' back in 1991.

3. He might get his wish in the end, but not the way he'd probably like if China replaces Russia.
One authoritarian regime replaced with an even more brutal authoritarian regime in the G8. China does not even bother with the illusion of democracy.

4. "an election that would not pass the smell test in any functioning democracy."
Wow. McCain just writes it for you. Amazing. In a functioning deomcracy, elections like the one in 2000 and 2004 would have never passed muster either John. You fucking idiot. Please shut your mouth, you are making your dad look smart. And that is just unnatural.

Behold my son! Dubya Jr.

"I think that I would stand up to the Russians very strongly in this respect," McCain said."

....we not only will have a '100 years of war' in the ME, we'll also have a brand New Cold War with Russia too....this senile old man is truly dangerous....

"...an election that would not pass the smell test in any functioning democracy."

....johnny, I know you're old, but have you lost your sense of smell?....didn't you noticed the odor that emanated from our 2000/2004 elections?
