Why SO worried about McCain?
Edited on Wed Apr-02-08 02:52 PM by Timmy5835
The campaign hasn't even started yet. So far McCain steps into it on a regular basis. Once the Dems pick their nominee and the campaign really gets started look at all the crap they can use on McCain (see YouTube). I can't wait for the debates. Also, McCain is not in that great of health. Can a 71 year old man who does very little exercise survive the riggers of a national campaign? Unless the Dems pick someone like Castro we have very little to worry about.

1. It's not McClown I'm worried about.

It's the Dumberican voting public and their potential to hit the Voting Stupid Trifecta.

" . . . . duuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuhh .. . .all I see. . . is black guy . . . . don't trust. . . must vote for white guy no matter how bad . . . . . uuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuh . . "

". . .. O'Reilly and scary-voiced lady on commercial tell me Democrats raise my taxes . . . . .duuuuuuuuuuuh . . . they said it so it MUST be true . . . . . .. uuuuuuuuuuuh . . . must clean . . . lobotomy scar . . . . "

I mean, in 2004, you would have thought a plant stand would have won in a walk over The Failure Fuhrer. But Dumberica proved me right in their moniker and made it close enough to steal, all because they "didn't want them Ay-rabs invadin' mah town!! We cain't switch horses in the middle of th' Pocalypse!"

Best one yet!

edit: someone with Photoshopping skills could give him a big red nose, floppy shoes, and of course a big red fright wig (which he could use anyway).

4. Simple
Ever watch a horror movie, and the villain should be dead 3 times over?

That's McCain.

And there are plenty of reasons to be worried when a substandard candidate whom even his base hates is getting traction.

How?

Until we know that, he's a threat.

5. I agree. He's a weak candidate.
An angry, probably mentally disturbed, old pink-faced guy. His policy stands are ridiculous. He's absent minded on his supposed strongest point.

Elizabeth Edwards (nicely) drew some real political blood on him today with her appearance on TV morning shows talking about his laughable health insurance "plan" for Americans (more the the same).

Plus, there are many thousands of voters who were born after Vietnam and don't see the relevance of it to their own lives.

We overestimate this guy.

7. Because he has Corpomedia working for his campaign.
We have seen how hard it is to counter falsehoods, distractions and misdirections when they are orchestrated across corporate lines...

Even now we have to raise a ruckus to get Keith's attention to the most blatant falsehoods..

9. I can't imagine McCain winning
Either BO or HRC will wipe the floor with him.

Plus, I really think that the BFEE treat MCCain like a cat plays with a mouse - they really like to beat up on him and will most and won't help him and might hurt him.

PLUS, wait till old man McCain stumbles and becomes confused, unable to keep his train of thought, and has a senior moment.

And IF he wins, at least we know that it is time to pack up the tent and move in with the GREENS. The Democratic party should be shot dead if they don't make major gains on every level in 2008.

11. Yes, I agree -- he looks very, very bad next to Obama
Which is why the right-wing is fighting so hard for Hillary.

13. Imagine on the Debate stage...
a wizened, white haired, pink faced angry midget
standing next to a tall, cool, assured, confident
brainy giant...Just the visuals....

My only fear is if he chooses Jeb Bush as his veep....
sheesh...

12. All Mccain has
is his supposed war record. He used it to beat Romney, and he'll try the same thing against Obama/Hillary. If Bush/Cheney try something with Iran, or there is some terrorist threat later in the year, he'll try to use it to his advantage, and it may work.
