"President Bush seemed to confirm this week what has been an open secret for months: He and his wife will be moving to Dallas when they leave the White House next year.

Mr. Bush, greeting a handful of mayors Wednesday at the White House, stopped when he saw Dallas Mayor Tom Leppert.

There goes the neighborhood. He'd probably be looking for something right
in Highland Park, too. Now, any time I go home, I'll have to contend with
blocked streets and traffic snarls any time he wants to go out and get a
steak. I can only hope that he spends most of his time with Daddy in Houston
or Maine, or (preferably) with Uncle Dick at Halliburton HQ in Dubai.

Except for Bob Jones, I don't think he'll be in demand for speaking engagements
at many universities, as they usually want only English-speakers..........
