And how would you know? I have been reading the posts on DU regarding our candidates and seeing the rising vitriol on both sides. I favor Obama but would vote for Hillary if she were chosen but the point is that the rancor seems manufactured and so over the top it just may be a Rove trick. How would we know? I personally can't get excited to the point of losing perspective about anything (except maybe Bush) but I understand there are people with different personalities and different ways of expressing themselves and an open forum such as DU is the place for that but enough is enough. Remember it is Bush, neo-cons, flat-footed christians(as opposed to the truly committed)and right-wingers that we are opposed to. Not each other and not Republicans who are as dumb-founded as we are by the take over of their once and sometimes great party, i.e. Lincoln and T.R. Even "Nation" magazine this week has a cartoon about this 'devolution' amongst us. So I say again: Is Karl Rove on DU? And how would you know?:-(

12. Obama like Clinton... |
|
For some reason there is a belief that liking one candidate over the other presupposes missing their flaws. In 1992 both my husband and I took a liking to Bill Clinton. He was not a friend but seemed way ahead of Bush I or Ronald Reagan in the smarts department and he was genuinely not of the upper classes by inheritance. Didn't know much else but even the flaws seemed human dimensioned and not out to hurt anyone in particular. We learned a few things but still prefer the Clinton years to the Bush years (father or son). Now we have Obama. Has he always been the glowing angel of enlightenment and liberalism? Hell no but what he says and what I hear when he says things makes me feel better about being an American. I begin to hope again that we are not this century's Spain. (Look that up in the history books because Spain was once the greatest European power until it - or rather its rich and royal - lived solely off the looted gold of the New World.) But I digress. We all have to stop being so touchy about our choices. I and my husband have made ours. If you are comfortable with yours that is all that is needed. My support of your decision should not be necessary.

supporter and I practice unity and hope. I hope. Rove's favorite trick is to generalize half-truths and make them seem like the whole truth and irrefutable. We have 2 choices and there will be one who will come out the winner in August. I don't invest much energy in liking or disliking. Que sera sera: Whatever will be will be.

I'd have to expect him and his minions to be at least reading what is going on here. He's such a control freak it would be hard to think he wouldn't be taking information posted here and filing it away for *use* later on.

10. Can Kkkarl spell well? Does he use "there" or "they're" when he means "their"? |

Either I keep running into Kkkarl, or one of his retarded cousins. I can feel a disturbance in the force.

people sometimes post in haste. I grew up in the era where if you confused they're, their, there it was write each 100 times after school or get spanked on the knuckles. I am making mistakes now because I can write faster than I can spell check not that I don't know better. I have noticed that my children's age cadre is very insecure about a lot of things and has become picky about the few things it is sure of. At my age though it is just another thing that ultimately doesn't matter. I like good spelling but the world won't disappear because of the lack of it. Lighten up and smile. This is a new century in case you haven't had time to notice.

Republicans and Obama supporters have banded together and gotten so wildly, and arrogantly, out of control attacking Hillary supporters that they have destroyed the community that once existed there. Ironically, they can't even see it. Hatred does bizarre things to a persons perspective.
Unity my ass
There are three republicans in this race
