Police Hire Paranormal Investigators After Unexplained Events
Police Hire Paranormal Investigators After Unexplained Events

HOMESTEAD, Pa. -- Officials with the Homestead Police Department have hired paranormal investigators after several unexplained events in the station, including a typewriter that types by itself, blasts of cold air and slamming doors.

Several people have seen keys on a typewriter moving on their own inside the police department, WPXI reported.

Workers also said an attic door has continued to swing open despite it being bolted.

"Doors slamming is one of the biggest things that almost everyone in the station has heard," police station employee Denise Kelly said.

18. When someone asks you if you're a god, you say, "YES"!
Good tip to know if something big and powerful punches its way into our world seeking world domination.

We really are galloping backwards, thanks to the religious wingnuttery out there.

19. Leeches have legitimate medical uses
as do maggots. I can't imagine either would make very good pets, though.

29. now, now
we have no way of knowing what digit or small extremity reattachments Ms. Moore undergoes on a routine basis. ;-) On the other hand, leeches are frequently used to aid in draining blood from swollen faces after reconstructive surgery. Maybe they're also used on swollen faces after vanity remodels.

5. They're PAYING for this nonsense?
I thought most paranormal investigators didn't take money for their work. Kinda hard to charge for investigating something that doesn't exist.

6. There's a "Greater Pittsburgh Paranormal Society?"
News to me.

If they don't slaughter a goat in the process of the investigation, then I call this a wasted opportunity.

12. They'll probably call the kids from Paranormal State first. They're out of Penn State U. and
have a program on A&E. I don't particular care for them as their lead investigator is very heavily into religion. I would love to see Jason and Grant come in!

13. The OJ container was empty this morning, and no one took responsiblity.
Should I have this investigated now, or should I wait for more unexplained events to pile up before I make the call?
