19. Im actually somewhat suprised
I mean I can understand not wanting to go through all that again just for the VP slot but he is a young accomplished, well spoken candidate who truth be know would have sunk McCain in the general election as sure as either Hill or BO would have...

I would think him as VP would almost assure him as P in the near future..

13. I think you're right
Even though I am well educated, I'm saving my pennies and learning both a new language (trying anyway) and a trade with the intent of eventually relocating to another country and starting a small little business there to earn my keep. My first obligation is to provide for myself and my family. I'm convinced that in the not too distant future that will be better done somewhere other than in the US.

16. You see post 11? Edwards would make a great AG..
And would probably get more done than he would as VP. I think it's a great idea..

5. I believe Evan Bayh from Indiana will be Hillary's VP, and I
think this will be made known before the Indiana primary. This would be a shrewd political move, and he has always been in consideration.

12. Duh ... HRC's own version of Dan Quayle
Even from the same state as DQ. Not about to upstage her, malleable,
milquetoast ... I've expected this from the get-go.

:snooze:

20. Because I think Edwards is a total phony, that means I'm not a Democrat?

Edwards words never matched his actions.

21. Whatever...
He had a lot more to say than either of the current presidential candidates. Oddly enough he actually had substantive differences from either of them in terms of the magical quality called "issues." Of course these days such things are thought to be mythical ideas that our ancestors used to select candidates.

These days we are much wiser and trust on emotional appeals by the scientific and rational boxes and paid celebrities that tell us about the miniscule games played by those celebrities they claim to support and endorse.

7. Who would offer it?
That would be like Kerry offering the VP slot to Lieberman in 2004.

9. Huh?
Offering Edwards the VP spot, would be like Kerry offering the VP slot to Lieberman in '04?

Are you on drugs or something? Are you actually comparing Edwards to Lieberman, in some convoluted way?

Makes no sense to me. Edwards would be popular with Democrats, while Lieberman in '04, obviously would not have been.

Its unwise to place the same candidate on the ticket 4 years after being on a losing ticket.

Thats not a comparison between Lieberman and Edwards beyond that.

14. Except For One Thing....
John F. Kennedy running in the VP slot, could not have helped win that election.

IT WAS RIGGED, and while Kerry took his "lawyer" money, and ran, at least Edwards supposedly had wanted to fight the obvious FRAUD which took place.

18. If he gets the AG nod...
We are all gonna be deafened by the loud sound of all the repuke buttholes slamming shut in abject fear and hysteria.

For verily, they will know that the bell tolls for them.
