4. So McCain Sees The Light in 1983???
So we can assume he was a racist before then and he went through some conversion? Yeah, right. IRC, Arizona lost a ton of business when the state rejected the MLK holiday. Gramps "saw the light" when it served his political purposes...but that's how he's always been.

It's been open season for racists lately...they hide behind the "outrage" over Reverend Wright or Obama not saluting the flag or some other "criticism" that then allows the racist to flow and the stereotypes and boogiemen to play. And if you call them out on it, they get all "outraged" that they somehow are the victims. Shameful.

Well at least Bill Press is up...finally a voice of reason on this show. It's been loaded with right wing flying monkeys all week.

7. They did it to MLK too...
40 years later, it's the same thing. If a black person criticizes U.S. foreign and domestic policy, it gives closet racists a chance to harp on it and frame the person as "anti-American." MLK was framed as anti-American for speaking out against the Vietnam War and for America's economic injustice. But at the heart of it was the fact that these people hated him all along and were looking for any reason to jump on him.
