It's always been about accountability.
David Vitter got some hookers, Spitzer got some hookers.

Which party held their elected official accountable?

Tom DeLay gets busted doing some questionable things while in office, William Jefferson gets busted with $90,000 cash in his freezer.

Which party's elected official has his committee chairmenships taken from him? And whose is allowed to "retire"?

Scooter Libby.

Alberto Gonzales.

Donald Rumsfeld.

Dick Cheney.

Condoleezza Rice.

George W. Bush.

There is no Democratic equivalent.

And now we have Randi Rhodes.

She says something, is suspended.

Limbaugh, Hannity, O'Reilly, Coulter, Wiener-Savage, Dobson, Buchanan, Falwell, Robertson, and on and on all say worse things and are rewarded.

The difference? Accountability. It's what separates us from the hate-filled morans.

When Ralph Nader pops back up in October and blathers on like a younger version of John McCain saying "there's no difference between the two parties". Remind him, and anyone who supports him, about accountability.
