Comments on today's headlines: In addition to the steady stream of stories about war, environmental destruction, and economic failure, we have six stories about the naked refusal of Executive Branch-controlled regulators to appear in front of Congress, much less to carry out their duties - to the point where they are being sued by state governments and threatened with restructuring by Congress.

If I were a front page editor, today's lead would be: Agencies to Congress and States: Drop Dead (literally).

4. You got it. Now repeat it: The GOP is the PODD. Its a frame. Frame them.

If I had the news story, I would point at it; illegitimate births have gone UP under Bush, for the first time in ~10 years.

So, in addition to the death that we hate, the PODD also brings "death" that its own followers hate.

A third grader with some logic could destroy a PODD-person in an argument.
