American Views On International law |
|
In the book "Of Paradise and Power" Robert Kagan tries to argue that Americans as a people favor unilateral solutions to problems. He also claims that Americans have are do not favor international law. It seems to me that Kagan is wrong in that I thought polls showed that more Americans supported President Bush seeking UN support for the Iraq War and have a multinational force if he went into Iraq. So, do polls support the idea that American favor a unilateral solution to world and American problems?
