Warmonger McCain doesn't appreciate "Warmonger" tag

John McCain, whose drumbeat for war with Iran has including singing about it, says talk show host Ed Schultz's comment that he is a warmonger is out of line.

McCain criticized Barack Obama Saturday for not denouncing comments from Schultz at a North Dakota Democratic Party.

The comments in question came Friday evening at an event in North Dakota where Barack Obama also spoke. Schultz addressed the crowd, during which he criticized McCain's support of the Iraq war and called him a "warmonger." Obama was not present for Schultz's comments and spoke later at the event.

Obama campaign spokeswoman Jen Psaki said Saturday McCain should not have been described that way.

"John McCain is not a warmonger and should not be described as such. He's a supporter of a war that Senator Obama believes should have never been authorized and never been waged," she said.

3. If people think "Bomb, Bomb, Bomb, bomb, bomb Iran" was just a joke, then
then they don't understand the various uses of "humor".

6. No doubt about it - McSame is as big a warmonger as they come. Wouldn't surprise me...
... if he was still fighting the Vietnam war in his head.

"We were flying our planes..."
"Over Machu Pichu?"
"I'll never be over Machu Pichu."

16. I'm a Liberal, ergo, me too.
All politics is local afterall and, unfortunately, the opposition isn't just going to die and go away to convenience those of us who agree on the issues. This leaves me to wonder how "the Third Way", as it is espoused by party lights from various quarters, is actually going to work out between local factions, but I see no way ahead except forward.

5. The Democratic party needs to stop apologizing for telling the
truth.

The statement below is ridiculous, he is not a warmonger but he supported the war. WTF is that supposed to mean?

<snip>
"John McCain is not a warmonger and should not be described as such. He's a supporter of a war that Senator Obama believes should have never been authorized and never been waged," she said
<snip>

McCain and the Republicans got exactly what they wanted and now they run from it. Our Candidates need attack McCain on this not apologize.

A Fishmonger Sells Fish. A Warmonger Sells War. Obama Distancing Himself From Schultz Remark Stinks Like a Dead Fish

Diary Entry by Sandy Sand

Shame on the Obama camp for backing away from Ed Schultz' "warmonger" comment.

snip

While warming up the audience prior to Obama's appearance, Schultz flat out said that John McCain is a "warmonger."

Distancing Obama from Schultz, Jen Psaki, an Obama spokeswoman said, "John McCain is not a warmonger and should not be described as such. He's a supporter of a war that Senator Obama believes should have never been authorized and never been waged."

Wrong! A warmonger is exactly what Johnny "GWB" McCain is.

McCain is selling Bush's war; Bush's march to war against Iran; war against anyone who doesn't keep in step to their warmongering tune.

A warmonger sells war.

8. That is only because the violence in Iraq is on the uptick.
He had no problem with "100 years in Iraq" or "War monger" or "Bomb, bomb, bomb. Bomb, bomb Iran" when the "surge" was a "success".

He tied himself to an illegal and failed policy. He owns it, and it will sink his sorry ass.

12. He should stop being a warmonger, then
Next time he says that no one has supported Bush and his war more than, he should be bowing his head in contrition, not boasting.

like being called fat they would rather be referred to as big boneded or plus sized.

21. Look-it, folks .. McCain is just dumb as dirt. And stupid, too (Hanoi shoot-down).
McCain's claim to fame .. hero that he is, and I'm not disputing that .. is that he went after a low-value target in a very high-threat environment. And he was way too low and way too slow to conform to his mission SOPs. BAM! SLAM! POW! (literally!) .. dumb-ass! The NVA gunners were not that good, believe me!

What a waste of a good A-4.
