St Ronnie and Poppy ............ Fleet Queens?
I don't often think about it, but when I do I get pissed. More Right Wing shenanigans to plague us.

The naming of navy ships.

Kennedy had a carrier named after him. It has been decommissioned, and some of us are probably shaving with its remains.

Johnson had ....... nuttin' ......

Nixon ....... nuttin' ......

Ford ...... nope ..... try again .....

Carter ...... SSN-23 Seawolf Class submarine. Not even a big-assed boomer. An attack sub, albeit a one-off special with some neat-o "accessories".

St. Ronald has a big, honkin' aircraft carrier. The Queen of the Fleet.

So does the Wimp. The George H W Bush is the newest big, honkin' carrier and the newest fleet Queen.

William Jefferson Clinton? See entries for Johnson/Nixon/Ford.

What's in store for The Shitstain on the Shortz of History?

1. Junior is not even worthy of having a garbage scow named after
him. But that would be insulting to all those who serve on it because THEY performing a valuable service to our nation. One that further's the enterprise of a civilized society. Whereas nothing that pointy earred fuckwit ever did was in furtherance of any enterprise other than his own midguided and malignant ego.

2. Repukes are also really good at getting
public buildings after them, too. Post offices, airports, federal office buildings.........

They are just not good at running countries, is all!

5. I saw that. It was perfect
In fact, it was that story that pushed this whole naming notion to the fore in my sick head.

7. The real outrage of naming a carrier after 41 ...

He ditched his plane in the ocean and left his crewmen to drown. A real fuuggen hero he was. :sarcasm:

10. I think the naming of ships should be governed by the same rules
we use for postage stamps; no living person's name should be used.
