People, it's COLOMBIA, not Columbia... I'm series!!!!111!!

I posted this on March 4th, but is necessary to post it again because of the recent discussions about the US-Colombia free trade agreement.




Columbia can be the space shuttle, the district, the University, the glacier, the mount, the river, etc... but NOT the country.

It is spelled Colombia, with two O's. When so many DUers spell it Columbia, it makes it difficult to make fun of the freeperland morans... seriesly, it is nukular to me!! Also, I think a lot of Colombians would find it disrespectful.

Can we all agree it's a good idea to get the spelling of country names correctly?

Leno interviewed some college students once and among the things they claimed this was one of them...that the Discrict of Columbia was in Colombia. Oh, and New Mexico is part of Mexico.
