McSame to wife: "At least I don't plaster on the make-up like a trollop,
you c--t!"

Another Rethug, giving us yet another example of how NOT to talk to women.

http://www.huffingtonpost.com/2008/04/07/report-mccains-profane-ti_n_95429.html

John McCain's temper is well documented. He's called opponents and colleagues "shitheads," "assholes" and in at least one case "a fucking jerk."...

Three reporters from Arizona, on the condition of anonymity, also let me in on another incident involving McCain's intemperateness. In his 1992 Senate bid, McCain was joined on the campaign trail by his wife, Cindy, as well as campaign aide Doug Cole and consultant Wes Gullett. At one point, Cindy playfully twirled McCain's hair and said, "You're getting a little thin up there." McCain's face reddened, and he responded, "At least I don't plaster on the makeup like a trollop, you cunt." McCain's excuse was that it had been a long day. If elected president of the United States, McCain would have many long days.

1. 1992?
That's quite a long time ago isn't it?

And aren't his reprehensible positions on the war enough ammunition?

10. No, his positions on the war are NOT enough ammunition.
Many independent voters -- ones we need in November -- think he's the best one to handle the situation in Iraq, because he's the military guy.

This incident with Cindy happened in 1992, but it wasn't covered then, due to "squeamishness" among the MSM -- they weren't used to covering "naughty" language back then. But now it's coming out in a new book, called "The Real McCain." The book pose many questions about his temperament which are highly relevant to his campaign for the Presidency.

From the link at the OP:

SNIP

"McCain is well known for his rapport with the national media covering his presidential bid (he's jokingly referred to the press as "my base"), but Schecter said this incident was buried not out of fealty to the Arizona senator. Rather, it was uneasiness about how to get such a coarse exchange into a family newspaper, and he didn't fault the local press for not covering the incident.

"Members of the media are squeamish covering stuff like this so they let it go," Schecter told RAW STORY in an interview Monday. "Back in '92, when people use naughty words, don't know as much what to do with it."

16. We need to challenge that any military guy is better than a non-military guy.
He served from 1958-1981 of which 5 1/2 years as a POW.

His highest rank was Captain. Possibly the equivalent of a Colonel in the other branches.

During 1967 he was shot down on his 23rd mission in Vietnam and then was a POW for 5 1/2 years.

What did McCain do from 1958 to 1967 the time he was sent to Vietnam?

What did McCain do from 1973 to his retirement in 1981?

What in all of that experience makes him the best candidate compared to any non-military candidate?

26. And there is a excellent argument to be made that the Commander-in-Chief
position is best left to a non-military person. Too much entrenchment in the military system, too much dogged loyalty to the military's goals, will not help a President to envision other, non-military options.

45. Look at what we got with an Embicile-in-Chief that everyone
believed was a military guy.

They should ask themselves... do they want another military guy to make the decisions on whether to go to war or try for the best solution?

19. I think this helps dispel the notion that he's somehow a good
guy who just got a bit off track on the war, but is otherwise a moderate, sane man.

Anyone who'd treat his wife like that is someone you'd have to suspect of harboring a really dangerous lack of self-control. With anger management skills like that, do we want this guy's finger on the button?

25. His temper is legend among Arizona media. I know a cameraman who says
the reporters and producers/camera people draw straws because no one wants to cover him.

And yes, I think temperament has everything to do with how he'll perform as president. If he speaks that way to the wife who made him what he is, how will he handle REAL people?

Since 1992 was probably well before her stint in rehab, maybe she was sticking around because being the wife of a senator kept her free of prosecution for her pill habit?

I've seen her touch him several times on camera, always gently and on the shoulder or back.

His response to this incident should send shivers down the spine of anyone who can see him answering the phone at the famous "3 AM." :scared:

I am sure the Clintons have had some nice little "dinner conversations" through the years as most married couples have.

Those who've encountered the McCains socially through the years would probably call them the typical American couple. Rough edges and all.

My concern really is his temper may erupt at the wrong moment and he may "push the button" and send us all into oblivion on one of his "bad days" although who's to say Hillary might not do the same after one of the 3 am phone calls about Bill. Which only a fool doesn't believe she doesn't still get. He is, according to some, still quite the "ladies man" as Hillary seems content to dismiss it all on the basis of. He's just a ladies man. He was abused so he's allowed. Poor baby.

Of the three candidates, Obama seems to be the only one who seems able to keep a cool head. And thanks to the world situation the Bushes have created for us it really is important to have someone who seems able to keep a cool head. And hotheads usually are not cool heads.

No doubt when Hillary drops dead the "tell-all" books will begin to hit the bookstores. Until then, well, suffice it to say most are intimidated by both the Clintons. His outburst about Bill Richardson is pretty much what you get with the Clintons although usually the outbursts are not so public. And most who've worked with them and around them are afraid of being on the receiving end of the outbursts. Which probably explains why Al Gore passed on challenging her. He knew better.

And you go on to say the McCain's are a "typical American couple." Who are you kidding? A Senator with a nasty, ferocious temper and a wife with a history of drug problems and a giant fortune. This is typical?

I don't know about you and your friends, but I don't think calling a wife a "c--t" is something most husbands would do. I have never heard that word out of my husband's mouth, or my sons, father's, or brother's. Or out of the mouths of any of my friends.
