And Bush says he is going to cut the tours to 12 months...?
from the present 15 months? Just before the election?

It is sad that the truth must tread so carefully. If total anarchy takes place in Iraq, some including General Petraeus and Amb Crocker, would call it a successful operation.

All-out war is about to break out in Sadr City. At this very minute, people are loading up their shit and hauling ass out of town. They know what's coming. Death and destruction. Fallujah II.

We'll pretend it is the "Iraqi government" taking care of thos evil militias of al Sadr. But it will be American troops and American bombs doing the killing.

It's all a propaganda game. The surge is working. We cannot leave. We must continue our present policy. At least until we can toss this hot potato into the lap of the next President. Then we can jump on his ass for losing the "war" in Iraq. It's enough to make a maggot puke.

1. So sadly true.

Unless some very strong leaders finally emerge in Congress.

7. He's cutting the tour length?
How generous of him. Course the soldiers will have to go on more tours to make it up no doubt.

8. Bush does nothing that is not for political reasons...
Contrary to his claim that he doesn't look at the polls, etc, which is also said for political purposes.
