Poll question: How much "live" video have you been seeing from Iraq lately? |

We had live video of Shock and Awe but we can't see the new peaceful Iraq the surge produced? How about some live video of Iraqi civilians strolling down the streets and taking in their new found relative safety? Something does not smell right here.

After the initial battle for Baghdad every morning there would be a reporter there reporting the latest information for the day on every cable news channel.
I remember because I used to hear the call for prayer in the Baghdad mosques in the background during the reports. That stuck in my mind. Without that I probably would have forgot.

...would work. There used to be one on a deck or rooftop of the Palestine Hotel but it was shut down in late 2004, "for security reasons." http://www.foxnews.com/video2/bagCam.html
