Petraeus - Has anyone asked "General, how much
are we spending (bribing) to the Sunnis not to fight? How much longer can the American taxpayer afford to shower suitcases of money on them?

Are we paying Shiite Sadr to do the same?

How much of the "success" of the surge is dependent on these bribes? Must they be continued indefinitely?

So far on the bits that I have heard, there are very few questions and a lot of palavering - as usual in hearings. Makes me furious.
