6. I didn't know about this one

A short time ago he also awarded a posthumous medal of honor to a Native American would had by all accounts acted with great bravery in the Korean War, and who had , by all accounts, been passed over for a medal of honor at the time precisely because he was Native American.

This was written up in Native American newspapers as a great honor finally to be recognized. It was.

But I found myself being cynical about that one too, not because the men receiving the medals didn't deserve them, but because I find ulterior motive in Bush's actions.

I don't think these awards will help Bush much, but they might help him a bit with a few people, and you are certainly not alone in suspecting the Bush Administration of the worst.
