How many civilians did THIS man kill?
Edited on Tue Apr-08-08 06:28 PM by elehhhhna

Any guesses how many Vietnamese people he bombed? He wrecked 5 (yes, five -- not a typo) jets so he must have spent lots of time flying...

4. My unpopular view on this
I'm not going to condemn McCain for his service to the country in the military.
His civilian service to the country is not my cup of tea...but his military service should be off-limits...unless of course we are willing to concede that the RW was correct in their attacks on Kerry.

5. Okay, taking my smartass hat off for a sec --
is it not valid to ask about what he did in Vietnam when he could be in charge of Iraq next year?

8. I think so
but not to malign his service.
I am more concerned about what being held captive and being beaten did to his psyche than how many planes he crashed.

7. Of course his military service should be off limits -- ask John Kerry!
That's bullshit.

If he wants to run as a war hero, let's hear what makes him a war hero!

After what the rethuglicans did to Kerry with their swiftboating and their fucking purple band-aids...his military service is certainly not off limits!
