she was a hoot and a half.

Sook died when Capote was still pretty young - it's how "A Christmas Memory" ends.

7. I read this enormous very detailed bio of his, which included a lot about his
growing up and his family - including his aunts and cousins. It was a good read, though it took forever, but I have to admit it's all muddled up in my memory now.
