The Hidden Battle for the World Food System.

Global food prices have risen dramatically, adding a new level of danger to the crisis of world hunger. In Africa, food riots have swept across the continent, with recent protests in Burkina Faso, Cameroon, Ivory Coast, Mauritania and Senegal. In most of West Africa, the price of food has risen by 50 percent—in Sierra Leone, 300 percent.

In the United States there has been a 41 percent surge in prices for wheat, corn, rice and other cereals over the past six months.

Why not encourage family planning?

The churches deny people condoms. Money is gone for birth control pills, etc. Wouldn't want to have less members of the Church would we? The coward leaders should stand up to the church pointing out the error of their ways. Our earth is running out of resources, food, and water. They seem blind to any problems right now since Bush has other plans for the world...chaos and fear for power.

Many countries have millions of none productive refugees which burdens their infrastructure and society. It is in crisis. What do our leaders do? Talk about children's health care and toys. Also war. What about the adults who have to care for them? They are at war...they are injured...they are jobless when they come home.

We could have food shortage here in America because we don't grow much except corn. The huge pig and chicken farms export their product for better profits. The pollution is making them sick...and a environmental disaster. Our infrastructure and process of getting food to market all but destroyed.

I saw $4.00/gallon for diesel fuel at my local gas station. That price will keep many things from going to market. The food prices have been souring the last few years.

Impeach them...they are destroying us.

The Empire Builders and religious organizations have left Africa in disaster and on it's knees.

The Neo Cons want the African Union. It's already a done deal if you listen to Congress people on CSPAN talk about sending help, troops, etc.
