Looks like he's gonna run for it. Gotta give Bob credit for taking off his GOOP blinders.

I had predicted Gnewt Gingrich would jump in the race, but Barr works just as well. He's going after the Ron Paulbots out there...but Paul still hasn't ended his campaign. The fundies are in wait-and-see mode...Gramps needs to put Hucklenuts or some other "Dobson/Hagee/Robertson approved" drone on the ticket to get them off their asses. I still think we may get a God, Guns and Gays fundie independent in the mix before this is over.
Yep...for all the corporate media spinning about how divided and/or demoralized Democrats are, the GOOP is 10 time worse. I see a lot of states in play this year that haven't been in the past...even in the "solid south". While I don't see GA quite ready to turn, we could be surprised in Florida and North Carolina...as well as in Virginia, Arkansas and even Texas!

4. I think VA could very well go Dem. |

If Barr runs, GA is seriously in play(with Obama). Barr is from GA, and would pull alot of Grampy's voters.

I don't know how popular Barr is in his own state...and the "Libertarian" vote has never been much of a factor. Despite all the noise the Paulbots made, they never polled more than 10% in any primary and on a national level I doubt any third party will draw more than flies. The lines are pretty strongly drawn this year...and I suspect that this why we see/hear little about any serious third party movement. Lots of noise, very little action "on the ground".
Now I wonder how much money Ron Paul still has from those money bombs...and what he's gonna do with it.
I wish Barr well...any voice out there that calls this regime for its corruption and illegality is not a bad thing.
Cheers...
