I have a gut feeling about Air America and it ain't good. |
|
My little prediction is that they will change formats from an all progressive station to an all debate type station with a progressive and a conservative. Disclaimer- this doesn't mean(I hope) it will happen, but I think it is the best bet for their survival.

1. They are done after loosing Randi. She is the only draw they have. |
|
Its a real shame.
I hope Randi gets picked up nationally by Clear Channel. we need her research and her voice.

3. Almost true, Rachel is a big draw for me as is Sam |
|
I also like Thom Hartman. But my XM subscription is getting cancelled ASAP, I can listen online for that.

4. I'm still keeping my XM. I can't listen on-line in my vehicle. |
|
And when Lionel is on, it's channel 150 or 153 and raunchy comedy for me. Also, 133 and XPR is pretty good sometimes.

6. Actually since they took MSNBC off (Olberman for the evening drive) |
|
AAR is the only draw that I have for XM anymore. And that was largely Al Franken, Randi Rhodes and Rachel Maddow. Franken's gone. Randi's probably on the way out, and Rachel is working a much larger gig of late at MSNBC; I don't expect her to stay much longer.
I am about ready to pull the xm plug when my paid up annual subscription ends.

7. I get the feeling that Rachel will move to MSNBC soon. |
|
She hosted Countdown for Keith Olbermann, she shows up as an analyst on Countdown and Abrams' show almost every day now.
I'm getting the feeling that since she's getting so much air time, they do like her, and may end up giving her a show soon.
At that point, it'll be certain that MSNBC will be giving her far more money than Air America ever could.

2. I think murdoch secretly owns air America |
|
and he's deliberately trying to lose money on it so:
1. He can reduce his already meager tax burden and
2. His fox noise underlings can prattle on about how liberals can't even run a business and nobody listens to liberals anyway.
