AAR to issue statement today re: Rhodes
I'm keeping a running update on my blog:

http://ltradio.blogspot.com/2008/04/rhodes-coming-back-with-or-without-air.html

What is known:

- Green 960 PD John Scott is claiming Rhodes and AAR have parted company, though this same person did make the same claim about Al Franken back in 2006, which was unfounded until a few months later.

- She'll be back on next Monday on Green 960 at least, with or without AAR. Her original station, WJNO in West Palm Beach, will likely be on board, and likely WINZ in Miami. All are owned by Clear Channel.

- Nova M and Jones Radio Networks are reportedly interested, according to AllAccess, a radio industry trade site. I could definitely see Nova M.

- AAR will issue a statement today, according to Radio & Records.

- None of this is confirmed at all (except for the Green 960 return), so this is all rumor and speculation at this point.

1. I can see Jones Radio
Schultz and Rhodes don't get along, but they know business and two host not getting along is actually good for the radio business.

2. I'll put my money on NovaM getting her. She's got a pretty good relationship with Clear Channel
though, but I could see her tipping to NovaM.

6. John Manzo, her former producer, is now CEO of NovaM Radio
So I'm betting on NovaM too.

7. Not to mention her feelings about Mike Malloy. I think he could help her to make the decision.

5. Doubt it. Randi continually threatened to 'tell all' about Jones' nefarious dealings.

She hated that network (on the air).
