Looking at Icasualties...are the incidence of "non-combat related" deaths to soldiers increasing?

I worry about the wording,when it comes to taking care of their families,etc.I remember the "pre-existing illness" clause that screwed so many soldiers with PTSD.

They do that sometimes. Sometimes non-combat related military deaths in the US also spike.
