5. actually plenty of logic, well right wing logic anyway...
the troops rotation reduction doesn't take place until august 1st. That means if you enter the army july 31st, you still have a 15 month rotation.

Why is that significant? because when august first kicks in, any recruit gets out well after moron* is out of office and because the military is so stretched right now and there isn't a draft, the next poor schmuck that's prez, will be saddled with either pulling out the troops or raising rotation times or sadly, a draft.

The dems suggested the cut in rotation times in roughly jan of 2007 and it was looked upon by moron* as being unpatriotic. (I know, makes no sense). that's because if it took place then, he would be saddled with having to either bring them home or extend their tours or having a draft (which, in effect, is political suicide)

So rather than do that, he* waited and will leave this stinking pile of a war in someone else's lap.

Basically, the same goes for the draw down. why isn't he* letting the troops come home? because, 1) iraq will become a full blown civil war from a small civil war that we keep in "check".
2) the "failure" of the war would be laid at his door step.

Whether we stay or go, iraq is now officially a stinking pile of circle jerk fuck job. However, I would prefer to have the troops home rather than be in the middle of that mess.

2. if it's working, we need more troops
if it's not working, we need more troops

we need tax cuts because the economy is so good (2000)
we need tax cuts because the economy is so bad (2001)
